I just wish they had done it more BEFORE the election, when Obama followed Bush on TARP and the FISA bill which gave RETROACTIVE immunity to corporations, or.....

Mary




Although I have tried it, I have rarely enjoyed it and haven't used it for many years. I do find it one of the many hypocrisies of this so called free nation of ours that such a cute thing is illegal.
The trailer below looks interesting. This is an issue that I would think would be cut and dry, satisfying both liberals and conservatives. We could SHRINK government AND have healthier food and environment. Unfortunately, I believe both sides are too blind to see it this way and most the politicians are too weak to stand up to corporations.


It also features a great man, Joel Salatin from Polyface Farm. If you have a chance to see Salatin speak, I highly recommend him. Even if you don't agree with him, you will definitely be entertained.

Ok, so, if you believe this chart... which, along with everything you find on the internet is always suspect and Cato is a libertarian think tank so they have something to prove. My intuition, though, after a huge increase with Bush's "No Child Left Behind," and my local taxes for education have continued up, says that the increase is in the ball park.


Plain and simple....More money does NOT equate to more intelligent people. We need to overhaul the system and cut their spending. They have been given their chance. As the Seinfeld soup nazi would say, NEXT!
